Radon is a radioactive gas that occurs when natural processes break down uranium into radium and then to a gas. This gas at high levels has been found to cause lung cancer.
Radon levels continually change and a home that previously tested low may now be high. The only way to know if the home has high radon is to have it tested. Radon testing is not included with a standard home inspection.
Our fee is $125 when included with the standard home inspection and $175 when not.
